Developing skills always pay off in many unplanned ways.
I remember learning how to configure mails on outlook. This was a core part of my 1st job back in 2007 while I worked as a CSA for a US based Internet Service provider. Doing this day in day out was frustrating, I never knew how this would help me in future!
As an entrepreneur since 2016, there have been numerous times when I had to configure my organization’s mail on multiple devices.
All that learning came in so handy even after 9years of being out of practice, I didn’t have to rely on Google 🙂
The aha moment was when the emails started getting downloaded into the new devices and worked error free at one go!
To all the working professionals, if you feel your current skillsets are relevant or may not help you, hang in there.
All skillsets come in handy for sure, trust the process and keep learning.
