Post training conversations..
At the end of a full day session, one of the participants stayed back to talk..
She shared that she has a lot of fresh ideas that can help her grow and wants to implement them to start her own venture, but she realizes that while she keeps ideating, she finds someone or the other already acting on it. This demotivates her and makes her feel that she isn’t able to come up with unique ideas as everyone is already doing what she is thinking about.
Here is what we discussed:
“Just because someone is doing it, shouldn’t stop you from doing it, if you are confident about it”
“There will always be someone who is smarter, faster, sharper than us! That shouldn’t stop us from moving ahead”
She realized that instead of judging her own ideas basis someone else’s progress, acting on her ideas would be fruitful 🙂
We worked on a daily action plan that can help her acheive her goals and not just ideate!
What do you think could help her? Have you experienced what this lady was experiencing?
Would love to hear from you.
