“Should I join a Start-up” or build my own “Start-up”
This is a question freshers often ask me!
My simple take on this has always been these:
1. As a fresher, joining a start-up/ starting your own start-up, expected to function, learn and innovate gets challenging with no past working experience. Some newbies manage this pretty well, some get disengaged and quit!
If you are confident about your business idea/ ability to function on your own and you are entering into the business/ start-up with a reality check- Go Ahead!
2. If you are a fresher and are uncertain about forming your own start-up or joining a start-up, join some structured large organization instead!
Spend about 2-3 years to understand the business dynamics of multiple organizations. Learn and understand the structure, policies, systems during the early phase of your career.
Once you understand the gamut, you will be able to add value to any start-up or your own start-up!
